Hollywood Celebrity Centre protest, August 9, 2008
Anonymous protests at Scientology’s Celebrity Center HQ in Hollywood. The Scientologists were throwing a welcoming party for celebrities, politicians, and high-ranking police officials to try and get them on their good side in keeping their tax exemption status.
They illegally blocked off the sidewalk, and tried waving a permit at us as an excuse, even though permits only cover private property, not public sidewalks. But they’re able to get away with it anyway.
